Volunteers from the Cheesecake Factory, based in Bridgewater, helped to harvest approximately 2,800 pounds of peaches and 1,200 pounds of apples at America’s Grow-a-Row (AGAR) recently.

AGAR which is located in Pittstown, helps to feed those in need by donating free produce to families and individuals faced with hunger. The Cheesecake Factory volunteers spent two hours picking and packing up the produce which was then delivered to local hunger relief agencies all across New Jersey.

America’s Grow-a-Row, with the help of more than 4,000 volunteers, will plant, harvest and coordinate the distribution of approximately 1.2 million pounds of free produce to residents in need all across the state this year.
