The children of Acorn Montessori School in Lebanon, earned $1,108.47 to help buy seeds and baby plants for America’s Grow a Row. Throughout the month of March, the children did chores at home to earn coins to put into their personally decorated mason jars.  Each day brought the proud sharing of what jobs had been completed to help their parents and others.

Cabbages, potatoes, and other vegetables have already been planted at America’s Grow a Row’s farm in Pittstown.  The families of Acorn will join in harvesting these fruits and vegetables to help provide fresh, healthy food for those in need.
